Germany's Harting wins men's discus

DAEGU (AP) _ Defending champion Robert Harting of Germany won the men's discus at the world championships Tuesday with a throw of 68.97 meters.

Olympic champion Gert Kanter of Estonia took silver with a toss of 66.95 and Ehsan Hadidi of Iran earned bronze with a throw of 66.08.
