Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas aims to boost premium brand image

Located in southern Seoul’s vibrant center for commerce, Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas has a reputation for its top quality facilities and service, and success in hosting the most heads of state during the G20 Seoul Summit 2010. Designed by John W. Reifenberg, the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas features classical Korean-style ambiance including distinctive taste and luxury. In order to come up with unique traditional designs for the interior of the hotel, Reifenberg spent months traveling around the peninsula for ideas from ancient palaces.

When the hotel served as the headquarters for ASEM 2000 in the Grand Ballroom, which can hold up to 1,000 people, it became home to a number of major international events. As Korea’s most prominent address for business travelers, the Hotel also features “Club InterContinental” which provides an optimum business environment with private meeting spaces.

Located on the 34th floor of the hotel, “Table 34” is a contemporary French restaurant which is recognized as “One of Asia’s Finest Restaurants” by Miele Guide 2010-2011, and was introduced in the very first publication of Michelin Green Guidebook, “COREE DU SUD” in 2011. “Table 34” is introducing a new French-style brunch menu, named “OBrunch,” starting in July this year.

As the industry leader, the Hotel has been privileged to be certified a Korea Eco-Label Hotel by the Ministry of Environment and the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute. It has also been selected as the most preferred hotel by CEOs in Korea.

Moreover, the hotel has been awarded the 1st prize in the 2010 KS-SQI (Korean Standard-Service Quality Index) for five years in the hotel industry. And in 2010, for the fifth year in a row, the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas won 1st Prize in the Hospitalities business division of Korea’s “2010 National Customers Satisfaction Index.” For the fifth year in a row (2006-2010), the Hotel was awarded 100 points for its food safety management system HACCP by JDC International FSMS Audit Protocol also.
