[Come together] - Min Camp

This is a series introducing associations and clubs for expats. This week, Expat Living spoke to Busan-based surfing and skiing club Min Camp -- Ed.

•Name of Club: Min Camp -- Ski, snowboard, skate & surf

•Location(s): Busan, South Korea -- Gwangalli

Who is it for? Events are open to the public. The club is great because it’s open to both Korean and expat members and offers public services for summer and winter sports.

What goes on? The club provides surf lessons to the public daily and during the winter has a ski/snowboard club.

Plans for the future? 2011 Min Camp ski competition at Muju.

Are there any membership fees? No membership fees other than facility use fees of 3,000 won for surf and ski competitions.

Highlight of the year:
The summer highlight for the group is the surf competition and winter is the ski competition.
