As many as 85 major North American auto and autoparts manufacturers, including GM, Ford and leading global automotive supplier Magma, were present at the trade show KOTRA said.

The trade promoter also organized a forum in Toronto on better ways for South Korean autoparts firms to make inroads into the North American market.

"South Korean autoparts companies need to consider investing in the United States to overcome ever rising trade barriers," an industry source said. (Yonhap)
