‘I’M YOU’ services a success for KIS

May 15, 2011 - 18:51 By 김지현
Korea Investment & Securities is successfully operating its one-stop asset management solution designed to help clients make investment choices that best reflects stock market trends, the company said.

As of April, the portfolios operated by the company’s “I’M YOU” services showed an average return rate of 17 percent.

Unlike existing asset management services that call for the investors to make investment decisions based on their own judgment of the market, “I’M YOU” service―launched in March last year―closely follows the market to adjust the portfolio whenever necessary.

The adjustments are made based on Korea Investment & Securities’ indigenous investment guide, the company said.

There are four types of management products operated by “I’M YOU”―running the gamut from aggressive to stable ― all based on the investment goals and styles of the investors.

Investors must deposit a minimum 30 million won ($27,000) to receive I’M YOU services, and they can be in the form of all types of liquidity, including cash and stocks they are holding through the company and in other investment firms.
