A Belgian mother, suspected of having frozen her newborn baby after giving birth in her apartment in a small town of Limoux, Aude region, France, was indicted for murder and detained Tuesday, officials said.

28-year old mother of two girls aged three and seven was indicted for “murder of a minor” and held at a prison in Perpignan, said the prosecutor.
An autopsy was conducted Tuesday, but coroners did not answer the crucial question for investigators: Was the child stillborn or he was killed after birth?
The ex-boyfriend of the mother and father of two girls discovered the baby Monday morning and reported it to police.
The newborn baby was wrapped in a blanket when he opened the freezer.
The mother, who worked as a waitress in a café in Limoux, lived alone with her daughters under great psychological distress. She separated a few months ago with the father of her two children.
Police said that it was the third time that a frozen baby had been found in the Aude region.
The case recalls the 2006 murder case in a French village in South Korea.
Two infants were found frozen in a freezer in Seorae Village, southern Seoul in 2006. The mother of the infants confessed she killed the infants and was later sentenced to eight years in prison by French court.

佛서 또 영아 냉동유기..서래마을사건 영향?
프랑스에서 출산 직후의 아이가 냉장고에서 냉동 상태로 보관돼온 사건이 또 발생했다.
5일 르 몽드 신문 등 프랑스 언론에 따르면, 프랑스 경찰은 지난 2일 남부 오드 지방 리무의 한 가정집에서 죽은 상태의 영아를 냉장고에 보관해온 혐의로 26세의 벨기에 출신 여성을 체포했다.
이는 카페 여종업원 출신인 이 여성의 전 남자친구가 물건을 찾으러 왔다가 냉 장고에서 죽은 영아를 발견해 경찰에 신고하면서 밝혀졌다.
영아 냉동유기 사건은 오드 지방에서만 2010년 2월 이후 세 번째 발생한 것이다 .
경찰은 언제 이 냉동유기 사건이 발생했는지 언급하지 않았으나, 영아에 대한 부검을 통해 냉동실에 보관될 당시 아이가 살아 있었는지 여부를 확인할 방침이다.
이와 관련, 영아 냉동사건 전문가인 심리학자 폴 방쉬상 박사는 5일 르 몽드 신 문과의 인터뷰에서 한국 서래마을에서 발생한 베로니크 쿠르조 사건의 영향을 받았 을 가능성을 배제할 수 없다는 입장을 밝혔다.
서울 서초동 서래마을에서 살던 베로니크는 2002-2003년 낳은 영아 2명을 살해 한 뒤 집 냉동고에 보관해오다 적발돼 프랑스 법원에서 징역 8년을 선고받았으며, 형기의 절반을 마친 지난해 5월 언론과 접촉하지 않는 조건으로 가석방됐다.
그는 “영아의 시신을 즉각 버리지 않는 여성의 심리는 상황이 개선될 여지가 있 다고 생각하며 행동하는 것”이라면서 이렇게 말했다.
